Processing of personal data

The Danish Critical Supply Agency processes personal data on different occasions such as when a citizen addresses the agency with questions or expressions of opinion.

The processing of personal data occurs under the authority of the rules in the Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation

In certain cases, the personal data may be shared with other authorities, for example another agency or ministry, if the Danish Critical Supply Agency finds that an inquiry falls within the remit of another ministry.

Your rights

  • Request access to the personal data that are being processed regarding you
  • Request to have rectified inaccurate personal data concerning you or to have incomplete personal data completed
  • In certain cases request the erasure of personal data concerning you
  • In some cases have the processing of your personal data restricted
  • In some cases object against the lawful processing of your personal data by the agency
  • Complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency regarding the processing of your personal data

The Danish Critical Supply Agency’s data protection officer

The Danish Critical Supply Agency has appointed a data protection officer, who is an expert on the rules regarding processing of personal data. The data protection officer’s task is, inter alia, to secure that the Danish Critical Supply Agency complies with the rules regarding lawful and secure processing of personal data.

The data protection officer can elaborate for you the rules regarding data protection. The data protection officer can also guide you about your rights as a data subject in relation the Danish Critical Supply Agency’s processing of your personal data and who you should contact if you wish to make use of your rights.
